Embrace- Cherie Colyer

Title: Embrace

Author: Cherie Colyer

Genre: Fantasy, Romance

Book style: Ebook

From the back of the book: Madison is familiar enough with change, and she hates everything about it. Change took her long-term boyfriend away from her. It caused one of her friends to suddenly hate her. It’s responsible for the death of a local along with a host of other mysterious happenings. But when Madison meets a hot new guy, she thinks her luck is about to improve.

Madison is instantly drawn to the handsome and intriguing Isaac Addington. She quickly realizes he’s a guy harboring a secret, but she’s willing to risk the unknown to be with him.

Her world really spins out of control, however, when her best friend becomes delusional, seeing things that aren’t there and desperately trying to escape their evil. When the doctors can’t find the answers, Madison seeks her own.

Nothing can prepare her for what she is about to discover.
Dangerous, intoxicating, and darkly romantic, Embrace is a thriller that will leave you spellbound.

Review: I'm going to do this review a bit backwards from the way I normally do. Let's start with dessert first and work out way to the appetizers last, shall we?

For dessert we have some strawberries and chocolate, yummy! The ending of this book was a but rushed I felt. Summing everything up in the last little bit of the book but all my questions I may have had were answered and there were no lose strings left over that would have had me asking "but what about?" There was room for more to be written if ever Cherie desired to or to be left as is without leaving the readers with questions and feeling of unforfillment.

The main course is next lady and gentlemen, readers of all ages, serving up a steaming a steamed plate of sexy! Can I have a spell for a romance like that one?! Please... Anyways, I found that the middle, while dry in a few areas and had a few bits that I wanted to just skip over but held just enough that I didn't want to miss anything that may happen if I had skipped. Asides from those few parts the book was moist with dialogue that seemed real, characters I can relate to and details that had me hooked!

And last but always the best, the opening course! The part that must sweep me off my feet right away! Make me fall in love and never want to look back at the real world again! The part... you get the picture... This opening was a bit slow for my taste but held the promise of a great meal to come. It caught my attention and kept me reading! I would say it was a great appetizer for the rest of the book!

Rate: For the reasons I have stated above I give this book from 1, I couldn't finish it to 10, unputdownable, I rank this book an 8!
